Bjarni Þórður Bjarnasson

Bjarni Þórður Bjarnason joined the company’s board in June 2019. Bjarni Þórður holds a C.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Iceland and an MBA degree from Southern Methodist University in Texas, USA. Bjarni Þórður co-founded Arctica Finance and is currently the company’s Deputy Chief Executive Officer. Furthermore, he is a member of the boards of Arctica eignarhaldsfélag, Árvakur and Þórsmörk. Between 2003-2009 Bjarni Þórður wasDirector of Corporate Finance at Landsbankinn hf. In recent years he has advices many Icelandic and international investors in M&A and capital raising.
