Kristinn Harðarsson

Kristinn Harðarson holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from the Technical University in Iceland, an M.Sc. degree in Manufacturing Engineering and Management from the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) and an MBA degree from the University of Iceland. He was appointed HS Orka’s Executive Vice President of Operations in January 2021. Prior to joining HS Orka he worked as the managing director of power plant operations at ON Power and prior to that he worked at Alcoa for fourteen years where he held various roles including manager of CAPEX continuous improvement and technology, as well as being potroom operations manager in the Alcoa Fjarðaál aluminium plant.
