Svartsengi recieves Top Plant award from POWER Magazine

POWER Magazine publishes annual awards that honour companies in the power generation industry. Nominations for the awards come from electricity producers, contractors or operators working in the industry, but ultimately, POWER's editorial board decides the winner. Recently HS Orka won an award for the power plant at Svartsengi. Svartsengi is considered an extremely important pillar for both its local environment and Iceland as a whole, especially when considering it is home of the Resource Park. The Svartsengi power plant and HS Orka’s Resource Park are globally unique and were considered worthy recipients of the POWER Top Plant award for renewable energy.
