Construction work on the expansion of Reykjanes Power Plant to begin

Construction on the expansion of the Reykjanes Power Plant, which is set to start up in early 2023, will begin soon. The main projects have been put out to tender, and there has been a lot of interest in them. The 30 MW expansion is unique in that it makes use of geothermal water that is already being used at the existing power plant.

The expansion of the power plant will help to support the growth of the Resource Park, which is being built near HS Orka.
