Design and Idea
When the company was divided into two entities, 1st of December 2008, a new logo for HS Orka was needed. The idea was pitched by Þórhildur Eva, project manager of the customer department of the company, and was designed by Jóhann Friðrik at Intro. The idea was to keep the connotations between both companies, as the original logo has been a common household symbol for many years. The circle is symbolic for our environmental friendly and renewable energy production.
